Voting Instructions - Three Ways to Vote

1. Vote using your paper ballot and mail it back to the election company right away; it needs to be received in Minnesota by no later than 1:00 p.m. June 8th;

2. Vote on your smart phone or tablet by downloading the SmartHub app that gives you access to your SDCEA account (Bonus: This is a great app for monitoring your electric usage!);

3. Vote online via your web browser. However, the instructions that came with your paper ballot for this voting method are NOT CORRECT. You may have received a separate email from SDCEA with further instructions on how to vote this way. Save yourself the headache and go to SDCEA’s website (www.myelectric.coop) and log in to your account. A message will pop up that asks: “Would you like to vote now?”. Click ‘Yes’ and you will be able to vote. You should receive a confirmation email.

NOTE: If you vote electronically and do not receive a confirmation of your vote, you might want to then vote using your paper ballot and send it in ASAP. We are told that paper ballots will override electronic voting.
